Last night I saw A Minecraft Movie...
This blog will not have in spoilers.
I went with 14 other people last night and we bought the whole row. We started laughing as soon as the movie started just because of how surreal everything was. We were VERY loud at the start, clapping at random moments, saying the meme quotes at the same time, etc. It was really fun to have an entire theater yell out "Chicken Jockey" or "The Nether" at the same time, then clap directly after. Once we saw Steve we all started clapping. About 20 minutes into the movie two of the people with us, next to the person to my right, got kicked out. I saw two theater employees going up the rows and I told the person on my left "Employees are coming" and we all just had to act like we were being normal. One of them said "Yes, all of you" and at first I thought he meant the whole row but I just acted like I wasn't paying attention. I wasn't gonna leave unless they told me directly. The person at the very end of the row snitched since one wouldn't shut up and the other didn't have a seat so he set on the lap of the person to my right.
We were silent for like 20 minutes before we went back. I honestly don't know how much time passed, because even though the movie was 1hr 41m it only felt like maybe 45 minutes? Maybe less? I had a great time. But now onto the movie itself. It unironically might be one of my favorite movies now. References were great, I could only tell maybe 3 things that were not fully game accurate but still close. But for some reason the story and development was really good. I recorded videos for a few parts when the theater went crazy but not the best ones. Me and my friends were laughing throughout the movie, it had some good jokes. I would recommend seeing it later at night for the best theater experience.
